Hi! I'm Rebecca. I have been with DAP since 2017. I am proud to be part of DAP because I know how much they care for animals. We put dogs first. Quality over quantity. I am a huge animal advocate. I strongly believe in adoption first, and I have a soft spot for the seniors and special needs animals. My pet care experience ranges from rats and rabbits to dogs, cats and horses.
It is said, find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life! While that is not strictly true, I can confirm it is incredibly fulfilling to work in an industry you are passionate about.
I embarked on this journey in 2006 with one goal in mind - to provide the best service always. Being a dog owner with a background in customer service, I had a clear understanding of what my own expectations would be and wanted to make that available to others. I have been fortunate enough to have been in business for close to 20 years, and have weathered many challenges during that time - all of which I have learned from and grown. It is thanks to our loyal clients and our exceptional team of dedicated walkers that Doggie Au Pair has been an industry leader for many years. The relationships built and the friendships made have given me the greatest joy, and I look forward to many more years to come.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family in England & Ireland, relaxing in Vermont with our own rescue dogs, Winnie & Alfie, and exploring new trails.
I moved to the US in 1992 from Co Galway, Ireland and joined the opening team of the original House of Blues in Harvard Square. I was an integral part of the training and development teams at the Los Angeles, Chicago and Myrtle Beach locations before returning to the Boston area where I met and married Lorraine in 2002. Having grown up with dogs and being a life long dog owner, I am extremely proud of the Doggie Au Pair team, and love helping out when I can.
I have been a Real Estate Agent since 2001 and work at Insight Realty with my business partner Caitlyn DiCillo - Real Estate with Ultan and Cait With over 23 years experience I have an innate understanding of the buying, selling and redevelopment process, and a close relationship with a network of professionals to ensure everything goes smoothly from beginning to end.
When I am not working you will find me hiking at Hale Reservation with Winnie & Alfie or listening to my large collection of vinyl records - I still have a particular penchant for Blues and Gospel from my House of Blues days.
Hi! I'm Jannine. I've been working at DAP since 2011. I've had dogs all my life. I grew up with Beagles and had a Newfoundland, Yellow Lab and a Boxer. My most recent dog was Lily a Treeing Walker Coonhoud that I rescued from Forever Home Rescue. She was an amazing dog that I miss greatly. She passed away in January 2022. I love working at DAP and walking all my pups. I love how happy they are to see me - I am their favorite Auntie after all! It's super cute when you see some of your pack becoming bff's with each other! I feel lucky that I get to spend my day outside with dogs and the connections I make with their owners is priceless as well
Hi! I'm Linda. I split my time between New England and Florida. I have owned dogs my whole life. I feel so blessed to have this amazing job that brings me so much joy. When I’m not working, you will see me with my buddy Lucky.
Hi! I'm Shiarn and I’m from Nottingham in the UK. I’ve been visiting the US since 2000 and completed a college degree at South Carolina University in 2006 before relocating to the USA in 2019 and marrying my husband, Gil. I love to be busy and I also work as a Dog Trainer for my own company Fluffy Ruffian Academy, getting plenty of practice with my own rescue pups River (female Rottweiler x Retriever) and Lowkey (male Pittie mix)
Hi! I'm Kaylla. I’m an old soul in a young body. I love antiques. My love for animals is the same as my love for chocolate and pickles. Which is ALOT! I enjoy being out in nature and going for jogs. But I also love spending time with my fur babies Ethel and Lucy.
Hi! I'm Rand. You know, it only took me 30 or so years of trial and error to realize that perhaps office jobs and I weren’t an ideal match. I finally made my escape and started at DAP shortly thereafter, in the late summer of 2022. I can honestly say that working with dogs is the most enjoyable, fulfilling job I’ve ever had. Sure, sometimes the weather can make for some challenging walks, but I feel fortunate to be able to get outside and spend some daily quality time in the woods with the many pup friends that I’ve made.
